H. DOUGLAS NICHOL: It's always been our philosophy that the practice of law is a profession and not a business. And therefore, we take to heart people's problems and help those people with those problems.
And the person that initially receives the phone call to the paralegals and the legal assistants to the attorneys, it is a team effort, everyone working for a common goal. And that's the client's case and making sure that that client receives fair and just compensation for what they've lost.
Our main emphasis is serious personal injuries and wrongful death actions. One attorney with the firm handles criminal cases. We have another attorney that handles probate and Social Security disability cases.
We understand that at accident or an injury can be devastating to a person and their family. Being a certified civil trial practice specialist allows the client to know that I have sufficient experience, both in trial work and in preparation of cases.
After a client's case is finished, I primarily want them to feel that the system has worked, we have the best legal system in the world, and that hopefully that they arrive to full and complete compensation from that system.
